4. A worthwhile read.

In my quick read, I missed any reference to Israeli attempts at a two state solution that were rebuffed by the Palestinian leadership. I expected some reference to it in such a detailed review of the region’s history.

I was surprised by the glossing over of Hamas’ goal of eradicating Jews wherever they may be. On one hand, asserting that Hamas represents no existential threat to Israel while in the other, reframing their goal as violently seeking an islamic Palestinian state to replace Israel…a much gentler phrase.
