(1,559 posts)5. I am getting over 10 robo calls a day to switch to an Advantage plan.
I stopped answering my land line and have the answering machine on 2 rings. Almost all are now just hang ups.
If I do answer and eventually someone does come on the line, they start asking about my medicare insurance and how there are SSOOO many things I am missing out on. Like my medical insurance is my business, not some cold call BS that can barely speak english.
Which of course is true unless you actually have to use your medical insurance.
I wish I could get them to stop calling.

My strong advice to all is to ignore all promos and go straight to the source: Medicare.gov.

IIRC Medicare A and B only pays 80% and the rest is up to the you, which is where...

As of 2023, more (51%) Medicare beneficiaries are covered by Advantage Plans than original Medicare.

There is no lifetime maximum on MA. And original Medicare does deny claims and you do get
