This DUer finally got to give invocation. The bastards gave a second Jesus-y invocation [View all]
After offering to give the invocation before our County Committee meeting and using legal threats since theirs are all ‘Lord Jesus blah blah Jesus God blah blah Jesus’.. I finally got to yesterday. I included Pride..
My invocation was inclusive and I added the importance of Pride month.
And for the first time ever, they gave a second invocation. Bastards. I’m calling them on it and recruiting folks to volunteer for giving the first or second invocation.
The two invocations are right at the beginning.
