It surprises me still that my mother had the coolest moment ever when I was barely three years old, if that. She made sure I saw this, and kept me up well past my bedtime to do it. She made a point of telling me, "I want you to remember this." The memory is fragmented and blurry with time, but it is there. Way to go, mom.
