20. I agree with you, Malaise, AND with you, Cracklin' Charlie. The GOP doesn't give a rat's ass about

the moral issues surrounding abortion. "Unborn babies, unborn schmabies!" is their real attitude.

I believe they worked so strenuously to overturn Roe v. Wade just because they wanted to "lock-in" that part of their voting base. That's all.

Overturning Roe v. Wade is just one part of their overarching scheme to stay in power, along with destroying voting rights, electing politicians and secretaries of state who will eagerly overturn elections, committing blatant gerrymandering, keeping Citizens United the law of the land, and oh so many other devious tactics.

Like someone wrote in another post, all the GOP wants is wealth, control, and power. And they are staging a multi-pronged attack on democracy to attain their evil, self-serving ends, just as January 6 was just one part of a multi-pronged scheme to keep Mango Mussolini in office.


***Sigh.*** I feel so weary all of a sudden. The news that they actually did it, they overturned Roe, has knocked the stuffing out of me.
