(46,416 posts)20. I agree with this--I think it's some combination of isolation, suspicion,
and having gotten the shaft (real or perceived) at some point in life that makes people responsive to RW hate radio. Rush speaks to them and they feel that THIS guy understands what they've been through, THIS guy knows it's all bullshit out there, THIS guy knows what the real score is. Like a little club for the disgruntled, lonely, and misunderstood--angry at women in general, the well-educated, all those of other races who keep getting speshul treatment or goodies from the government... An interesting psychological phenomenon, for sure.
