(15,612 posts)60. My only suggestion is that moving to or near a college town is usually a good choice.
My choice would be somewhere near Asheville, NC but not too far away because you can get into redneck country fairly quickly.
It's pretty sad that our country has come to this, where we have to get away from the right wing crazies by finding the best place to live. I would do a lot of research and talking with people before I chose a place.
