Show me one single photo of this type of scene that predates the early 90's. (maybe late 80's.)

How about the 1940’s over Europe?

Sometimes a thing is just a thing, and not another thing. As mentioned elsewhere, conditions were obviously perfect for the formation of these “Condensation Trails”, but they happen ALL THE FUCKING TIME with no nefarious intent.

Including with gasoline powered radial engines from 80 years ago, as evidenced in the photos above.
