(58,785 posts)20. She WAS the one with the big OUTSIDE money funding from the beginning.
With big money and big name recognition, the seat was considered hers to lose. She lost when local voters learned more about HER and what she's been up to, and all the big money didn't save her.
I've read she's considered to be a much longer shot this time. Her district did a good job in electing Shontel Brown, who proudly signed the infrastructure bill two days after being sworn in. A lot of projects and jobs creation are being funded for their area and kicking off soon.
