Overreach.

Because their governing philosophy stems from an authoritative perspective NOT based in evidence but in "tradition", they believe they are ordained by god to dictate social and economic practices. Progressives are often accused of trying to promulgate a "Nanny State" and maybe there are times when policies step over some boundaries, but it is typically based in some evidence. We do not think we are entitled to dictate how things run. We base policies on what the available evidence shows would lead to the best possible outcome.

They are like the proverbial dog who catches the car...

If Roe is overturned, there will be major activity and Republicans will suffer losses in what should be an advantageous election cycle for them.
