But, there's free and effective vaccines out there. These people are spreading the disease and killing people with their ignorance. I'm beyond frustrated with them at this point.

I've lost people to this virus and at the risk of sounding like a jerk, the ones I've lost once a vaccine was available who chose not to get vaccinated hurt my heart less than those before there was a way to avoid hospitalization and death. I'm saying this as a person who just last month lost a friend (53-yrs old no prior medical issues) who fell into the anti-vaccine peer group. It's hard to wrap your head around, but it was their choices. Just today I found out his peer group also killed at least 4 other elderly people during the delta outbreak. I'm gobsmacked.

None of us ever thought we'd be where we are right this moment, yet here we are. Watching people we know die from a virus when many (most?) of their deaths are preventable now. It's a horrible place to be in, that's for sure.
