Had a title that went something like, "Biden blames Afghans and Trump, says buck stops with him".

I fear you are right.

Whatever their true motive may be, the media certainly appears to want to make this Biden's Saigon, and the longer the sensational coverage continues, the more people whose minds will be made up that he's a coward.
