I was sitting at work eating lunch with a Vietnam vet while the initial surge was going into Afghanistan. My colleague was gun Ho about killing Bin Laden. I asked him what purpose this revenge mission was? Would it bring back those that died on 9/11? (The pile was still smothering even then).
No, he said, but we have to respond.
I never agreed to war. I didnt get a vote or a say to invade that country even after 9/11.
I still believe a womens revolution needs to happen over there. 20 years of educating the women hopefully makes them rise up and take over but those religious fanatics are cowards.
