The phrase itself is too long and cumbersome. It's a term for wonks, not storytellers, and ads are there to tell as story.

The terrorists were there to attack congress and overthrow the election. Just because they didn't strap bombs to themselves doesn't mean they weren't terrorists. They were there to strike fear into anyone who opposed them and their Leader.

Any Republican who downplays or denies what was done supports doing it again (and doing it "right" this time) and turning this country into a banana republic.

A lot of use should be made of interweaving the Republican the ad is against with clips of attacks on the capitol police, and with mugshots of people identified, arrested, and charged for their actions that day, none of whom are "antifa." Make that point too.
