"Read the manual" is training but, useless.

Let's presume she actually mistakenly drew her pistol instead of he taser, that suggests, to me, that realistic training never happened.

I'm wondering what the Brooklyn Center police training budget is? How much time is dedicated to training. Is the training repeated on a periodic basis? How much of that training is dedicated to the use of and the procedures for tasers.

How are the training officers certified? Seniority and/or actual training and by whom.

I'll guess the City cut corners on the training. As do many jurisdictions.
