(10,737 posts)I just like it better in nice weather. Last fall, I went back to a really good Italian restaurant in Salina KS on a work trip. I was going to get something to take back to the hotel, but they had put a few tables on part of the sidewalk so I ate there. I was the only one outside, indoors was about 50%. It was one of the rare wind-free days in KS, so even without the risk I still would have wanted to sit outside. Afterward, when I walked my dog around downtown, the other nice restaurant also had no one sitting outdoors, but the bar was packed with no one wearing a mask. This was last Sept, and that's a good example of Kansas stupidity.
I've only been to two indoor places since last March. Both times were in rural areas last summer shortly after restaurants reopened and before covid had started spreading in those small towns. High-ceiling places, and only two other tables being used.
I got my shot March 8, but I still wouldn't go to any crowded place, restaurant or anything. I'd only eat indoors in poor weather, and if there were few others there.
