Call me cynical, but that is precisely the reason conservatives will not read it. Despite what Ben Shapiro and his ilk say about facts v. feelings, conservatives operate in a universe where emotion, not logic is the primary motivator.

Perhaps there are some "good faith" former Republicans out there, but if they have been involved with Trump and his brand of conservatism, then good faith has left the building.
