And we've already seen lies result in killing in the insurrection. They lied about the election being stolen but those lies convinced a mob that they were then justified in killing the people who got in their way of trying to "fix" the election.

In fact, the nazis used this specific lie on Jews, sacrificing babies, using their blood in rituals. and we all know what that led to....
