I guess we've found a good phrase to replace "common people?"
I don't think people would have a hard time understanding that Dems changed Senate rules in order to allow Dem legislation to pass without votes from the minority party. If we end up tossing the filibuster, there would be a price to pay.
I'll let Schumer and Biden figure out whether it's a good idea or not. They're running the show.
