Some decades ago, colleges were dumping South African company stock because of apartheid.

Today, we buy Tesla at many times earnings because the cars are "green".

Buy or sell for any reason you want. Eventually, though, reason will prevail and the stock price will be corrected to a reasonable price/earnings ratio.

If someone can hype a $2 stock to $400, good for them. Someone will be holding the stock when it returns to $2.
