You Lincoln versus Edward Everett (Everett was a renowned, politician, educator, statesman and above all, orator who spoke for two hours during the dedication of the Gettysburg National Cemetery, Lincoln spoke for 3 minutes. All that people remember is Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address and that Everett spoke for a very long time).

Your post is an example of how a few words can capture the essence of a subject. Many of us have voted for Democrats that we were not excited about, but when doing that, we need to think about the alternative. Some people refuse to do that, and when that happens, we get disasters like George Bush and Trump, and as you pointed out, we will likely get something really bad if another republican win Office.
