a journalist or ... In other words, if they committed a crime outside, they should and likely will be charged with said crime. All those who entered the building are guilty of all charges appropriate, IMO including murder.

Most in the crowd did not do anything considered a crime. Just being there is not a crime. Being stupid and gullible is not a crime.
