From what Jonathan Kinloch (one of the Dem board members) said, these GOP officials were poll watchers in Detroit ie harassers of black voters and brought that mentality into what should be an impartial process. They specifically buy into the 'scary urban PoC stealing votes' narrative that Trump pushes. They are racists and cried like cowards when called out on it.
