3. Remember This!

When someone rants about “the media”. It isn’t the media—plural for “medium” [of information].

As James Carville might say, “It isn’t the media, it’s the morons, stupid!“

Fox, Limbaugh, Hannity, and their ilk use their infamous appeal to contaminate the entire industry. Do not measure the good, mostly-union, men and women who work in media, by what these morons do.

It hurts when I hear a DUer slam my industry with right-wing insults. It isn’t “the media” they oppose, it’s players who intentionally pollute the common airwaves.

I can’t say this loudly enough: Slamming the ENTIRE U.S. media (everyone has faults) is at the core of Russian military propaganda offensives.
