2. There is no lasting immunity

My understanding is that there is a small block of time after recovery where your reinfection rate is minimal but there have been a number of documented cases of reinfection. My sense is that like the flu the virus mutates and one can become sick again. Herd immunity is a fallacy. When an immunization is available most likely we will need yearly shots like the flu vaccine. Disclaimer: I am not a doctor and just sharing what I have learned from my obsessive reading over the last number of months.
