They see an opportunity to do something beneficial and are acting accordingly.
One of my pecan trees will dump some of its fruit into the yard of my neighbor. The wind blows and the nuts fly.
I don't much care for my neighbor. Glad his home is up for sale.
But if he wants to pick up those pecans and make a pie I'm not going to cry, "Mine!".
I'm also not going over for a slice either.
It's good the pecans aren't going to waste.
