If Putin, the turd's hand picked henchmen and the turd's republican enablers aren't held to account, they'll do it again. Hoping that the courts will save us COULD work, if we had decades to LET it work. That is not the reality we face. The constant delay is a TACTIC to exhaust and fatigue us. It is the equivalent of appealing (judge shopping) until you get the desire you want. Not a desire for the proper outcome. The turd has now stacked enough courts that one can be found, as long as they continue to appeal and appeal and appeal. The Supreme Court can no longer be expected to do the right thing.

If they get away with this perversion of our democratic experiment, we are done. It's Fork Time.

Over the years I have whined and complained about the "democratic establishment". (yes, I know it's a no-no on the DU.) And it was one of the main reasons that Biden was 3rd or 4th on my list of preferables. (hmmmm.... Preferables vs deplorables...? )

We in the democratic party are so proud of our individual independent streak that we ARE the proverbial "herding cats" party. That is both a strength, and a weakness.

We MUST make sure our democratic establishment has what it takes to deal with this situation once and for all. Continually letting things slide due to infighting and independence is WHY we are where we are. We have to learn to focus AFTER we are in power, and get things done.

Biden, whom I support now with every fiber of my being, HAS said that he WILL hold those responsible, accountable. We just need to make sure that he knows how strongly we feel about it.

We also need to make sure that those who have been punished for coming forward, are made whole. Actually, we need to use HIS playbook and UNDO every single piece of legislation he has rammed through, AND remove every person he has appointed to ANY office. It is called "collateral damage". You align yourself with a turd, you will have the stench of a turd.

And WE don't like smelling a turd.
