He opened it, stuck his finger in it, found it not to his liking, and closed it and put it back on the shelf.

No spitting involved, but the "over-handling" reminded me of this.

I'm for spraying everything everywhere. I bring groceries to my young adult children & my daughter Lysols the Clorox wipes!
