and how their influence is dismissed I can't comprehend.
Father Coughlin, the raging, anti-Semite 1930s radio priest in Michigan was finally taken down in the late 1930s when WWII started.
Something has to be done about the consolidation of US corporate media into 5 major conglomerates and the loss of the Fairness Doctrine since 1987.
With Hollywood and LA as huge resources, why isn't there more truth based, balanced media?
Hold the usual- radio is a dying industry and only for old, cranky people-- false; nothing can be done because of the 1st amendment; we shouldn't create a 'left, Limbaugh style ranting broadcaster'- not saying that, and more.
