In reply to the discussion: Am I the only one who's not afraid of a "civil war"? [View all]Unbelievable

One of the truest quotes I've read is..
For anything to exist so must its opposite.
It works in every situation I have applied it to as long as its applied to true opposites.
In politics this usually shows itself as a spirited argument over policy. But In this case the opposite of objective reality was completly manufactured. We have allowed ideological fantasies to overtake common sense. We have allowed it to be pushed to this point by a media that doesn't have enough fuel to turn this plane around and go home. They must keep going. They have went too far though. They have to keep it going to their predetermined destination or crash and burn.
Unfortunately watching this happen for the last years and wondering when these "civil war" whispers would be starting has givin me time to figure some crap out.
Here's the metric to measure where the rw "gun nuts" who would be involved in such an event would be at this point.
AMMO.
Well guns and ammo. But mainly ammo. Go to walmart and look at .22 .223 5.56 and 9mm ammunition. Most commonly sold out ammo during the Obama (the sky is falling) years. Was impossible to find when HRC was slated to win. Especially in the beginning of Obamas presidency when they really were preparing for a gun confiscation. .22 was gone for years from the shelves of all gun stores but walmart is always a proper indicator. I've watched people line up at walmart on sunday because they knew the gun person and had insight on when the truck arrives. Sold out in minutes.
Walmart is overflowing with all those calibers right now. Go look for yourselves. Especially pay attention to .22 if you want to get down to it. It's their go to cheap end of the world choice. If .22 ammo is abundant, then they aren't preparing or scared of shit.
The right isn't pushing this civil war crap. Sure a few loud crazy people on social media but the loudest voice is usually the smallest threat in my line of work. This is coming from somewhere else and I think we are being inched closer by design.
If we fail to get the rest of America on board with what's really going on, there will be no winners.
Another great quote from a favorite song.
"What's so civil about war anyway"
