There are corporations far too dependent on that federal military spending. And you can always use a military, if only to stay in power. And what Trump wants is his old life back but with trump tv to play with until he strokes out. He's not the problem, that old american authoritarianism is. We did start off as multiple charters (corporations). It's hard to go against "the job creators".
