Wonder who fired the missiles? Could it be us?
We have a long, dishonorable history of false flag operations. Bay of Pigs, Gulf of Tonkin...
Trumpie wants himself a war. What better way to get it?
Edit: I confused the Bay of Pigs with the pretext for our starting the Spanish American warthe blowing up of the battleship Maine in Havana harbor.
We blamed the Spanish without much to go on. So, in essence, a false justification for war.
The 2nd reference is to the Gulf of Tonkin. This was turned into a major provocation when it was most likely some over zealous NV sailors.
Guess Im using the wrong term.
What Im pointing out is that the US has often used minor incidents where clear responsibility cannot be established to impute blame on nations that we wanted to go to war with.
Not sure there is a nice, catchy term to use. Bet most readers knew exactly what I was trying to say.
