21. I also had an ectopic pregnancy

Incredible pain, ambulance, siren, flashing lights, emergency surgery at midnight -- it had already ruptured and I was bleeding internally. The minute that fertilized egg embedded itself in my fallopian tube, it became my murderer. It was well on its way to killing me. That fertilized egg was not going to live -- it would either die when they removed the tube or it would die when I did. It is beyond grotesque to think that a bunch of men in a room thousands of miles from where I was could make laws determining that I would die just so they could preach how virtuous they were and how "godly" they were. Fuck the lot of them.

They're all equally ignorant, equally passionately ignorant, Warpy Aug 2012 #1
We used to have those, now the inmates are running for office and into government. n/t RKP5637 Aug 2012 #4
