I'm well aware that DU cannot influence the ads.
This poll is about the unbelievable idiocy of some republican morons, isn't it? That hatemail #2 surely is disgusting in wording and in spewing hate. But that guy has IMO a point in his criticism. Many here on DU are again and again blasting Republicans for their misogyny and their war on women. And at the same time everyone here who has no possibility to block the ads (or doesn't want to) gets ads with sexy images of young women as if they were some article in a mail order catalogue. The ads are indicating that you can buy those women for your personal use (like "Young Thai (Brazilian, Polish, you name it) girls want to marry an American&quot They pop up the more often the more you read texts about the war on women or abortion or any other subject that is concerning women.
This is also some sort of hypocrisy, isn't it?
We old fighters against male predominance are happy about every man that can realize how these ads are damaging the self-esteem and pride of young women. So I think that guy should not be made fun of.
