etc...it's time for the party to act in some way. What a mess of a press conference.

Northam: Really what I think is best is if we have a conversation about these painful things.

NAACP, VLBC, etc: Please resign.

Northam: I really want to hear from people while I remain governor about how we can resolve these issues.

NAACP, VLBC, etc: How about you resign.

Northam: It's important to listen to each other about these things to build a better and more just society.

NAACP, VLBC, etc: Resigning would be a good start.

Northam: Yes, I'm really looking forward to these discussions.
