the federal government's size and authority with a frontal attack on every federal department, office, and agency. He appointed enemies of each department's mission to run them - into the ground. No politician in either party ever had the balls, chuztpah, and ignorance of government necessary to do what he has done. The good news is that much of it was a great deal less effective than it would have been had it been done in a smarter, craftier way that would avoid injunctions by the courts.
