15. The plea deal agreement amounts to a sworn confession

Trump can pardon him, and even pardon him for perjury if he admits to "lying" when he admitted to those crimes in the plea agreement, but he can't undo the fact that Manafort swore to the truth of those admissions. That puts him in an absurdly weak position with tose state AG's if he decides to recant. I'm guessing that the document Manafort is preparing to release detailing why the plea deal is off will also contain enough evidence for even a baby state AG to bury Manafort with little additional effort.
