McCain choosing Palin was dumb pandering, designed to open the door to stimulate extreme right wing radicalism but lose the election and allow Republicans to shift the blame for the Bush Crash devastation onto the Democrats. To get Republican legislators to obstruct most attempts to create jobs and repair the vast damage and then use the resulting Misery Index as their marketing tool in 2012.

This is a declaration of war against democracy. War against the majority of voters who wanted their taxes to go into Social Security and Medicare and regulation of corporations to protect the environment, health and safety of the majority of citizens, even if it cuts into private profits.
