(4,066 posts)The op-ed is carefully written to give a view of people working behind the scenes to uphold the Constitution and thwart a rouge person in the Oval Office. EVERYTHING in the op-ed points to people who are more loyal to the nation than to the President. That's certainly not treason. It's actually following any oath they may have taken to protect the Constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. Trump is a domestic enemy of the Constitution. Finding that to be true is a case that could be won in any fair court of law. It should be judged in the House of Representatives by impeachment - but for the Republicans who are complicit in Trump's crimes this would happen.
Trump doesn't have any basis for calling it treason. Nor, can he call it defamation of character or libel because it is all so very apparently true.
