So sure he was that his personal superiority to Obama would be plain as day to economically desperate Americans, the same people he's been rolling over all his life.
But then the punches started coming. He'd seen that before, having run against Teddy Kennedy, but that was a Kennedy, a fellow aristocrat worthy of at least some respect. No way Obama could hit better and harder, no way the American people would buy it...
