(14,565 posts)26. It was the first thing I noticed while researching Gillum
I thought I wouldn't consider anyone but Graham until I saw all the high profile endorsements for Gillum. I mentioned it in the Florida forum.
It had to mean something, that this guy had plenty of substance.
I ended up voting for Graham anyway but it was not a slam dunk and I had my eye on Gillum and how he was faring. Frankly, I thought he would end up a respectable second, setting up a future run for high office.
But let's do it now. We cannot allow another Republican in that office because one they are established it is more much difficult to oust an incumbent four years later.

The DNC and Hillary had the foresight to give him and Abrams the spotlight at the convention.
