(53,661 posts)I've been thinking about the similarities over the last day or so. The media is pulling the same stunt they did with the TeaParty in 2010. And we're falling right along with it, giving it the ring of legitmacy, because we find it offensive, rightfully so.
This is one fast food outfit, not a necessity of life no matter how offensive, who are giving money to the wacko groups, but they are not the major source of support. The major support is from hate teevee and radio and the right wing pulpits across this country, from small churches to the mega churches.
There is no crisis being caused by gays or same sex marriage for these people. This is complete media trickery. It has taken focus off the bigger issues about what a Romney presidency would do to this country and the entire thing is nothing but an anti-Obama movement based on what they know these fools will do in the voting booth to keep from going to hell.
This unhealthy restaurant is not the most dangerous voice against gays and same sex marriage out there but the media focus is bringing all the disconnected messages together, to fire up a brainless voting block that will bite us later. J M H O.
