(25,544 posts)17. I just watched Fran Lebowitz interviewed, said about the Trump win
that she didn't see it coming, was 100% wrong (didn't know about Russian interference) and:
"I knew there were a lot of stupid people in this country, I've lived here my whole life. I didn't realize there were that many. I watched these rallies ... and why is there all that emotion? And that emotion is apparently the sheer happiness at expressing your bigotry that you've kept under cover for the past 40 years in this country."
