Since I'm a Buddhist, probably just a quibble on my part. You are correct that the GOP has become a vast criminal organization. With lots of Fascists overtones. Hitler and Mussolini came to power with the blessings and support of industrialists and corporations. Monopolistic capitalism craves to own it all and have us be wage slaves hauling large blocks to build their pyramids.

But undisciplined relentless greed is a human failing. A disease could wipe out every Republican, and the next crop of greedy humans would just spring up to take their place. What we need is an enlightened society, where the relentless acquisition of wealth is not the highest goal. A society, where socialism is not a dirty word. And that takes education.
