From his daughters' emails asking, "Why is Dad suddenly so cheap?" to what I have heard from matter-of-fact pundits who say that Manafort knows Putin's pals will kill him and that's why he is remaining silent. Witness protection or killing himself are his only options. If he goes to jail he could easily be killed there too. I have seen Goodfellas enough times to know this is no game he is playing. I hope all his assets are seized and his family is left with peanuts like Madoff's was.
