they weren't instructed to. None said they were instructed not to. I think they all have counterintelligence divisions, but for sure all have really smart people in the computer line. And all our other intelligence institutions.

Just guessing, but what I imagine they cannot do is in any way deter Russia with a threat to hurt them if our elections were attacked. That'd be Trump's job...

At least they are testifying publicly before congress on this subject. Big deal. Just imagine if they were not?
