The terrible Travolta movie was based on a pretty good book by L. Ron Hubbard (please forget that he started Scientology). The movie largely skips over the best part of the book in which people from all over the planet unite in order to defeat the monsters. The theme of the book is that 'it takes all types to run the world.' This is not the way of America where the only type allower are those that have money and worship savage capitalism.
