Trump would be an asshole but he'd be an asshole arguing our policies. The premise of this poll mandates that he would have had to veer 180 from everything we saw during the primaries, to win a Democratic nomination. How is he going to get there by championing anti-immigration, and with a birther record, etc. etc?

No chance. Throw away everything known about Trump in the past decade or so. This poll requires an application of situational influence. If there is anything I know, it is situational influence. For Trump to win our nomination he would have had to show sustained loyalty to our side for at least 10-15 years, dating to when Hillary became senator and Bill left office.

Hillary described Trump as a puppet. He hated it. Couldn't restrain himself. That's because he knows there is plenty of truth to it. Reportedly he is influenced by the last person who tried to persuade him.

To gain our nod he would have been a long held puppet.

Trump loves to win...to taunt. He would have been taunting the other side.
