About Stardust Mirror

my creds for DU My Mom - as a teenager before the US entered WWII she was beaten up in NYC for standing up to an avowed Nazi - as an adult, she boycotted, canvassed, laid her body on railroad tracks to stop nuclear waste trains -after retiring, helped open and run a women's shelter in her rural county Me - in 5th, I gave a class presentation on The Gulf of Tonkin just after it happened, and in 6th grade I gave a book report on "Unsafe at Any Speed" by Ralph Nader - in middle school when assigned a 'lip sync' exercise for Speech class, I lip synced "Call Any Vegetable" by Zappa and The Mothers - after college worked at Harvard scholarship program and was arrested in late 70's by the protester-head-busting Boston Tactical Squad (basically just for mouthing off) - as an adult, worked for years on a County Committee of judges, DA's, feminist activists, etc working to address and reduce domestic violence in our county - as an adult volunteered for years as a facilitator for MEN (Men Evolving Nonviolently), leading groups of men who had volunteered or been mandated counseling, teaching men to stop their violence - did volunteer work on several campaigns for County Supervisor candidates - have never failed to vote in any election.
