Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee deleted their Oct. 6 tweet that appeared supportive of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, after months of controversy over the rapper's antisemitic remarks.
"Kanye. Elon. Trump," read the tweet, which held up the rapper alongside Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter who has been bringing back right-wing figures who were once banned, and former President Donald Trump.
The tweet was deleted Thursday, as Ye was launching a lengthy antisemitic tirade during an appearance on the show InfoWars, hosted by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who is known for promoting falsehoods around events like the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012.
"I love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis," Ye said on the show Thursday. He also repeatedly expressed his admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Kanye West praised Adolf Hitler during a Thursday interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

Elon Musk said that Apple Inc. has cut back its advertising on Twitter Inc. and even threatened to withhold the social network from its app store, suggesting that a fight is brewing between the two companies.
“Apple has mostly stopped advertising on Twitter,” Musk tweeted on Monday. “Do they hate free speech in America?” He then posted again and included the Twitter account of Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook: “What’s going on here?”

Musk Says He'd Back DeSantis for President If He Makes 2024 Run

Elon Musk said Friday night that he would support Ron DeSantis, the Republican governor of Florida, if he ran for president in 2024.
Musk, in a series of Twitter exchanges, elaborated somewhat on his political views, saying, “My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far.”
He called himself a “significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump.”

Trump made himself even more Radioactive today by meeting a guy who said the Jews should leave the United States, along with fellow anti-semite Kanye West.
That said, Desantis is a very dangerous right-wing nut so Elon Musk doesn't get any brownie points for this.

Half of Twitter's top 100 advertisers appear to no longer be advertising on the website. A report from Media Matters for America states that these 50 advertisers have spent almost $2 billion on Twitter ads since 2020 and more than $750 million just in 2022.
Seven additional advertisers have slowed their advertising to almost nothing, according to the report, which was published on Tuesday. These companies have paid Twitter more than $255 million since 2020.
Chevrolet, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., Ford, Jeep, Kyndryl, Merck & Co. and Novartis AG all issued statements about halting Twitter ads or were reported and confirmed as doing so. The others ceased advertising on the platform for a "significant period of time following direct outreach, controversies, and warnings from media buyers."
The report wrote that even with these hits to advertising revenue, Twitter CEO Elon Musk has "continued his rash of brand unsafe actions — including amplifying conspiracy theories, unilaterally reinstating banned accounts such as that of former President Donald Trump, courting and engaging with far-right accounts, and instituting a haphazard verification scheme that allowed extremists and scammers to purchase a blue check."

Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, was seen at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday with Nick Fuentes, a leading alt-right figure and white nationalist.
Ye and Fuentes were first spotted together at an airport in Miami on Tuesday. Later on Tuesday night, Ye tweeted about meeting Trump and asking him to be his 2024 running mate.
Fuentes is well-known for being a participant at the 2017 white supremacist "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville. This rally turned violent when an avowed neo-Nazi drove his car into a group of counterprotesters, killing a woman and injuring 35 people.
Fuentes also hosts an online show called "America First with Nicholas Fuentes," where he has been known to make anti-semitic comments.
